A CAMPUS WHERE ALL ISSUES CONVERGE

The world opening up for us today is increasingly global, digital, business-oriented, sustainable, secure, and mobile. By 2030, the Greater Geneva population (nearly 1 million people) will increase by 200,000, that is, 20% more residents! 100,000 new jobs will be created by that time.

The need for training resources will therefore rise accordingly. Local authorities and their partners took these major trends into account, and chose to prepare for the future actively by offering a 10-hectare space dedicated to the economy of knowledge, understanding, and training. A site and a destination where public operators are in charge of land use, leveraging a first flagship facility with 15,000 m² of floor area (Duval development, BIG architecture agency), serving both as the foundation and engine for this expansive Centre.

With its training offering, facilities, and services, the International Knowledge Centre seeks to fulfill critical needs for a qualified workforce, anchoring Greater Geneva’s younger generation to the territory and developing its intersite position as a major campus appropriate for the scale of the France-Geneva border area.
